Social Security Contributions calculations

As of 1 August 2014, the minimum and the maximum wages for the purpose of the calculation of the social security contributions in Albania has been changed. The minimum base has been increased from ALL 19,026 to 19,406 and the maximum threshold wage for the calculation of the social security contributions has increased from ALL 95,130 to ALL 97,030. Such amounts do not serve as a base for the purpose of the calculation of the health contributions, which are calculated based on the gross wage.
